On the Dino Trail with Justin Pierre - Washington D.C./Richmond 11.17.09

These are a few of my favorite things: The Middle Finger, The iBag by Apple, and Altoids.

Radio Interview at George Washington University!  They asked the hard questions!

Outside in the mini-Parthenon.  My shirt says it all, really.

The President did not have time for a photo op as he was too busy SAVING THE WORLD.  But he did say I could take a picture of his new house.

Richmond, VA: VCU!!!  Fun facts: Apparently Tony Thaxton went to this school for a brief moment many years ago.  Also, Matt Taylor Bass was rejected by this school which in turn helped him make the decision to play with the rest of us in MCS.

On The Compass!  Matt Taylor Bass and Jesse Johnson showed up to help me out on a few songs.  Matt brought with him some great machines.

The following day I trekked back down to D.C. and had breakfast with Senator Al Franken in his office.  Apparently anyone can do this if you are from Minnesota.  He outlined his current plans for making Minnesota better in all ways, shapes and forms.  I’ve been a fan of his since SNL.  I’ve read his books and listened to his various talk shows.  He’s like The Flaming Lips: Ever changing, but always awesome.  I’m excited to see what he can do in The Senate.

Thanks to all who came out to the various events in D.C. & Richmond.  I had a blast at the mini-Parthenon.  I tried to circle often so you would all get equal amounts of face time.  Richmond in the dark was a sight to behold(or not, because it was dark).  Thanks to my boys for coming out and doing that thing you do with the noise machines.

Next Stop: St. Louis, MO

-Justin.
